Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Cynthia Taylor Prayer Shawl Ministry

This compassionate ministry brings comfort, prayer, and warmth to those facing life’s challenges. Members of the Cynthia Taylor Prayer Shawl Ministry knit and crochet shawls, lap blankets, and other comforting items while praying over each one as it is made. These items are then blessed by our pastor and shared with individuals experiencing illness, grief, or personal hardship.

Past projects have included:

  • Caps for soldiers and newborns

  • Shawls for nursing home residents

  • Items sent on mission trips

It’s a beautiful way to share God’s love in a tangible and deeply meaningful way.
